Gameplay / Walkthrough:
Steer across an open world map that spans 109 miles (175 km), making it the biggest game in the Need for Speed series. The game features four boroughs: Palm Horbor, Port Crescent, Gold Coast Mountains, and Sunset Hills. These boroughs bring out the city, Tri-City, located on the Gulf or California Coast even though the city is quite similar to Los Angeles. The game includes four water crossings, driving clockwise: the Main Guy Causeway, the Vale Causeway, the North T Causeway, and the Memorial Tunnel. Unlike all predecessors, there is also a long highway route.
Like Most Wanted and Carbon, the police system is alike in Underground full version game. There is a same bar graph on the top of the right side, and on the red side, ‘Busted’. These both depend on driver’s speed and nearness to police. The game also features the return of ‘Cooldown’ i.e. if the police pursuit is over it works. In Underground full game, the game also marks the return of heat levels, speed-breaker and pursuit breakers. The pursuit of police is the same as of Most Wanted and Carbon. One of the main features is that the pursuit of police depends on the heat of the player. It means that if the player is low at speed, the police will not pursue at high speed, and vice versa. If the player is high at speed, the federal police will at one join to pursue. If there is a common police, they can put road blocks, rolling road blocks, spike strips, and PIT maneuvers. In a career mode, you can also drive the police cars. You cannot get into other police cars and drive.
See the car damaged if you are unable to control it. The damaging of the car is relinquished by the bar on the screen. The car is repaired automatically repaired after every career race or police pursuit. You can upgrade/customize the cars. If you advance through the game as per storyline, you will be able to earn wheelman points.
