Gameplay / Walkthrough:
World in Conflict free game does not feature base-building or resource collection. Instead, you are provided with a pre-determined quantum of in-game reinforcement points to purchase units. If you purchase a unit, the reinforcement points are reduced from the point bank the units are thrown to the field after 20-second waif for the units to come. If a unit is reduced, the units that were used to purchase it return back to you, resultantly, reinforcements are called back into the tray.
World in Conflict free version game features three playable factions: the US, Soviet Union, and NATO, all are in multiplayer games, whereas you can only control US and NATO in the single-player mode.
If you are playing multiplayer gameplay, you can select one of four roles in battle: infantry, air, support or armor. If you are playing infantry role, you have access to several infantry squads – for example, anti-tank teams, snipers, and light transport vehicles whereas armor enables you to utilize several types of tanks, the dominant direct fire land combat unit of the game. If you play air role, you have access to anti-armor, air superiority, scout and transport helicopters. If you play support role, you have access to anti-air, artillery, and repair units. The units of each role can traded by everyone, but are more expensive for players with a different role. Moreover, every role possesses its own units which are not present for trade by other roles.
